How to Refresh Your Marketing in 2023

“Yesterday’s marketing strategy is not today’s marketing strategy.”
At last, it’s 2023! 🎉 And I don’t know about you, but I have been looking forward to this fresh start! At the risk of sounding cliche, I won’t say “the new year definitely brings about new beginnings.” But, IYKYK. So, besides jotting down your latest new year’s resolutions, have you thought about refreshing your marketing?
Refreshing your marketing is a must because like the real estate industry, social media continues to adapt and change, and your marketing should too.
So, here are some things you can do to start your year off right:
Look at your past content
Review your social media and email marketing insights to see which pieces of content performed well. This is my favorite way to gauge what kind of content my audience likes seeing from me.
For example, if your audience enjoyed seeing house tours and behind-the-scenes videos, you should plan to do a lot more of that this year!
Update your digital footprint
Now is the perfect time to refresh your branding, social media accounts, and website. Look at your website and change out any old photos for new ones that better represent your brand.
Show your audience that your digital footprint is refreshed and ready for new clientele.
Rethink your niche
If 2022 was a tough year for you, it might be time to rethink your niche. Because sis, not everyone has to be a luxury real estate agent. Think outside the box and educate yourself on a new area of real estate. The best niche for you may be something completely new!
Pick a social media platform that works for you
Marketing is not one size fits all. Once you determine your niche for the new year, make sure you show up where they are. Remember, each social media platform can target a specific audience, so choose wisely. Remember, you don’t have to be on every platform to be a successful agent.
Hire help!
Let’s be real, some real estate agents do not enjoy marketing (at all). And that is okay. If this sounds like you, consider hiring a social media manager or a virtual assistant. During the hiring process, make sure you work with someone that specializes in strategy and can help you grow online.
With a little bit of planning, you can take this year by storm!
